What we collect
- Your name and email address, if you sign up to our mailing list or contact us
- Your booking details, if you book a tour
- Your name, email and company details, if you submit a business or private booking enquiry
- Basic analytics data about how you use our website (pages visited, approximate location, device type), only if you accept cookies
- Photographs taken during tours, where you have not opted out
Why we collect it
- To confirm and deliver your booking
- To respond to your enquiry
- To send you updates about new cities, tours and events, only if you've asked us to
- To understand how people find and use our website so we can improve it
- To share photos and content on our social media and marketing, unless you've opted out
Who processes your data
We use third-party services to run our business. These include:
- Mailchimp (email marketing)
- HubSpot (business enquiries)
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (website analytics)
- CaptainBook (bookings and payments)
- Stripe (payment processing, via our booking system)
Some of these providers are based outside the EU. They operate under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for international data transfers.
We never sell your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as we're legally required to for tax and accounting purposes. We keep mailing list data until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in the footer.
Photography
If you'd prefer not to appear in any Girly Pop Tours content, just tell your host at the start of the tour. You'll be left out of anything we post, and you'll still receive your own photos.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
- Object to how we're processing it
- Complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission
